“help first day kids feel welcome”

Separation anxiety is not uncommon. Commissioned by a kindergarten in Hong Kong, the artwork was bound and sent to each family in the weeks before their child’s first day at school. The parents could then discuss the activities to prepare their child and lessen the stress of change.

The artwork untilises watercolour and soft pencils without text, and features generic spaces and the school’s easily recognisable uniform.
