Occasionally I’ve been asked to make logos. My own ‘Merry Mangrove’ is a work in progress and as a measure of where I sit in the universe of “making stuff up” it will continue to evolve. I’m happy to host you -as an observer- to be part of this process.

Whenever I’ve had the pleasure of working with graphic designers, I feel awe at how organised they are. I worked with Linda Valencia to build the colourful Sounds ‘n’ Stories logo (below). My original featured 2 chimera like creatures forming the outer ‘s’s holding up the words between them like an ancient crest, and for a while I loved it. We put that beast to rest with far less that says so much more.

The ‘elephant series’ (animation) was originally a chop for the first series of books, but then I brought the elephant to life with Apple motion as an indent for 44 phonics videos.
