During my last days in Hong Kong in 2019 (after 25 years) Covid 19 descended on and smothered the planet. Like many creatives at this time, with lack of movement I turned inward and took the opportunity to get busy making songs and writing stuff down. With contributions from my wordsmith friend Gavin Craw, fellow creative visualiser Jennie Milne and graphic design colleague Eric Au, I wrote a poem and from it began to illustrate a book called 'Planet Yo Goes Viral'. Intending to animate as I drew; I got somewhat carried away with Apple Motion. A sudden opening to leave Hong Kong emerged and sadly I have yet to return to the project.
